We encourage people who are touched by cancer by helping them pay non-medical expenses. To do that we must fundraise — through an annual gala, grants from local foundations and the support of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Equally important are personal donations. Much of our money comes from contributors who give from their hearts, whether it’s a $1, $5, $25, $100, $1000 or more — a gift to help their fellow county residents at a time of crisis.
